Hi <<First Name>> 👋

In this issue we learn graphic design, make web stories, learn the history of English language, how to use a DSLR camera, user experience design, and data journalism.

But before we go any further let me share with you ShiftClick Jr, a Telegram channel where I share resources for the younger learners. If you have a young learner do check it out.

Okay, now let's dive in!

📱 Learn to Make Web Stories

Web Stories are a web-based version of the popular "Stories" format that blend video, audio, images, animation and text to create a dynamic consumption experience. I am really excited to teach this free online class to explore web stories and learn how to build google Web stories in WordPress.

👑 The History of English Podcas‪t

This is a most delightful podcast for anyone interested in history and languages. It is a chronological history of the English language examined through the lens of historical events that shaped the development and spread of the language from the Eurasian steppe to the entire world.

📸 CameraSim

Ever tried to take beautiful pictures with your DSLR and feeling frustrated. The problem with a DSLR camera is that the only feedback you are getting is a bad picture. But what if your camera could actually tell what you did wrong? CameraSim is a camera simulation that does just that.
🎇 Chemistry and art

Take a journey with the Royal Society of Chemistry through history, art and science – whether you’re a teacher, a student, or just someone with an interest in art and chemistry. Find out how art and science have been working symbiotically for centuries, explore Chemistry and Art collection, and discover the links between different types of art, materials, colours and eras.

🌻 Learn User Experience (UX) Design
Here’s a hidden gem that offers a plethora of free UX/UI educational content including courses covering the basics, the design workflow, design and prototyping tools and even some content on HTML & CSS. 🪂 Make a multilayered Google My Map using news articles on invasive species
Dip your toes in the data journalism field and learn to make a multilayered Google My Map using news articles on invasive species. This tutorial walks you through collecting data from the articles in Google Sheets and uploading and visualizing the data in Google’s interactive My Maps platform.
